Join Us at Pashley Manor’s spectacular Tulip Festival 

Join us for a wonderful spring day out in Kent and East Sussex!

Our morning begins with a scenic drive to the charming market town of Tenterden, often called the "Jewel of the Weald." You will have plenty of free time to wander the tree-lined High Street, browse the independent boutiques and antique shops, and enjoy lunch at one of the town's many cosy cafés or traditional pubs.

In the afternoon, we will rejoin the coach for the short journey to Pashley Manor Gardens for their renowned annual Tulip Festival. The historic grounds will be carpeted with over 40,000 tulips across 100+ varieties, creating a spectacular blaze of colour against the backdrop of the Tudor / Georgian manor house, tranquil ponds, and woodland walks.

Coach pick up at 9:30 am at the usual place opposite the school.

We will then drive to Tenterden for a look around the town and find somewhere to have lunch.

We hope to leave at around 1:00 pm, arriving at Pashley at 2:00 pm. We will then have approximately 3 hours to explore the spectacular displays at Pashley Manor Gardens.

DAY TRIP: Little Venice Canal Cruise & Camden Market! 🛍️

Join us for a fantastic day out cruising the historic Regent’s Canal and exploring London’s most famous market!

🌟 What’s in Store?

• Tranquil Waters: We start at picturesque Little Venice and board a classic canal narrowboat.

• Iconic Sights from the Water: Glide past grand Regency villas, through the 200-year-old Maida Hill Tunnel, and right through the grounds of ZSL London Zoo.

• Camden Lock & Stables Market: Over 3 hours of free time to dive into legendary street food from across the globe, hunt for vintage treasures, browse artisan stalls, and soak up the waterside atmosphere!

• Return Cruise: Relax and take in the water views once more as we cruise back along the canal in the afternoon.

Date & Time Activity: Sunday, 23rd May 2027, 9:15 AM Pick-up & departure / 11:30 AM: Arrive at Little Venice & stretch our legs

11:35 AM Board our canal boat for the scenic cruise. 12:15 PM: Step off directly into Camden Lock Market

12:15 – 3:30 PM Free Time: Street food lunch, shopping & exploring

03:45 PM Board our return canal boat back to Little Venice.

04:30 PM Arrive at Little Venice & head for home.

• Footwear: Camden has historic cobbled yards, so comfy walking shoes or trainers are a must!

• Shopping & Food: Most food stalls and market traders take contactless card/phone payments.

• Meeting Point: If anyone gets separated, our designated meet-up spot is by the Camden Lock Bridge right next to the boat steps.
